I am a 21-year-old History, Poetry, Philosophy, Video Games, Music, Painting, Architecture and Nature enthusiast, who is a Computer Science Major from Pakistan. What I mean to say is that I am someone who belongs to a Middle Class family from a developing country who due to obvious social limitations, expectations and the need to live a socially acceptable life chose to pursue something other than his passions.

Q: Why do you blog?

A: Partly to make Butterflies and Wheels more frequently updated and more interactive (as well as that bit more interesting, I hope), but also because I think the world desperately needs to hear my opinions, and I like to oblige.” ― Ophelia Benson

The Pursuit of a socially acceptable life has made me realize how empty life is without passion, love, enthusiasm and the will to do something that keeps you up at night, something that makes you feel alive, something that sets you free.

This Blog is my way of expressing myself, expressing my opinions about the things I adore so that the powerful play goes on, and I may contribute a verse, so that my thoughts don’t go unheard.

“I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.” – Henry David Thoreau
